DM OF GAUTAM BUDDHA NAGAR WON SILVER MEDAL IN TOKYO PARALYMPICS 2020

Excuse of NO TIME , Our DM proves this otherwise

Having the responsibilities of his administrative duties along with taking out time for preparing for Tokyo Paralympics 2020 did not hinder the performance of our respected District Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida) and shuttler Mr. Suhas Yathiraj who made history on Sunday as his run at Tokyo Paralympics 2020 culminated with a silver medal for India in the Badminton Tournament, with the journey also earning him a place in the annals of Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Mr. Suhas lost in the finals against Lucas Mazur 21-15, 17-21, 15-21.  The Indian shuttler started on a positive note winning the first set before going down in the next two sets of the game in a 62-minute summit clash. Suhas, currently world No. 3 in SL4 category, has played three matches, including the semifinals on Saturday, in the ongoing Games before the final match. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the bureaucrat-cum-sport star for winning silver at Tokyo Paralympics.  NOFAA’s Congratulations to him on winning the Silver medal in Badminton. Best wishes to him for his future endeavours.

Mr. Suhas, when asked about his badminton practice and work as DM, had told reporters, “I practice from 10 pm for two hours after all the day’s work is over. I have been managing my game and administrative duties this way for around six years now.” Suhas said his professional journey started in 2016 while he was the DM of Azamgarh district in eastern UP and a badminton championship was organized there.

Hence Mr.Suhas’s success has proved that people’s Excuse of NO TIME is unnecessary.
