5 oxygen plants in Gzb become functional, 2 yet to be launched

In Ghaziabad  as many as five oxygen generation plants, including four government ones, were inaugurated on Thursday, union minister Gen (rtd) VK Singh inaugurated oxygen plants in four government and one Private Hospital. Among them was the 1000 LPM (litres per minute) capacity oxygen generation plant at the 166 bed MMG District Hospital, which is also the largest one in the district. Along with this, Oxygen plants were inaugurated at district combined hospital (500 LPM), CHC Muradnagar (200 LPM), CHC Dasna (330 LPM) and clearmedi Hospital and cancer centre, Vasundhara.this is the third oxygen plant to become functional at the combined Hospital.Singh said the biggest problem in the Covid second wave was the lack of oxygen supply. “The centre and state government together took this initiative and announced plans to set up new oxygen plants in nine government medical units in the district.”
