NOFAA President Mr. Rajiva Singh addressed a meeting of RWAs of Greater Noida. This meeting was called by CEO Greater Noida. The main purpose of this meeting was to discuss Solid Waste Management and Covid19 precautions.
In this meeting Mr. Rajiva raised some important topics which were related to the welfare of RWAs.
He said RWA representatives need to create a people’s movement (Jan Andolan) just like the Clean India Movement across Greater Noida. We need to have a sustainable solution, which can be achieved with the right kind of infrastructure to be created by Greater Noida Authority.
The three most important steps to create Swatch Greater Noida is Segregation at source, Collection of waste and processing of waste.
NOFAA appreciated the Greater Noida authority’s efforts in ‘’Gaddha mukat” roads and digitization of the updates through an application which can be seen and monitored by the administration as well as people.
“The C & D waste plant which is coming up soon and will be used for making interlocking tiles etc. to be used for footpaths. We need of Cycling tracks in Greater Noida in addition to sports structures being planned for the city” – NOFAA President Said
Awareness programs on Swatchhta Abhiyan need to be taken forward to make Greater Noida a world class township. NOFAA offered to provide free of cost workshops to around 100 RWA Presidents and Secretaries presented in the meeting.
